This photo is a good representation GREAT DEPTH OF FIELD. Great depth of field is when everything in the photo including front and background is in focus. This can be done by a small aperture and slow shutter speed. The focal length is 42 mm as well as my aperture is set to f/10.

This photo represents a SHALLOW DEPTH OF FIELD. The main subject is the only focus in the photo. This can be done by a large aperture and fast shutter speed. The focal length is 42 mm and my aperture is f/2.8.

This photo has a FAST SHUTTER SPEED. This means that it causes motion freeze. Where when the photo was taken at 1/400th of a second. It allows for us to capture an image at this exact second allowing us to see a once moving object to be completely still.
This photo has a SLOW SHUTTER SPEED. This causes the image to be blurred where the moving object is. This allows us to capture movement in a photo where the shutter speed is 1/60th of a second.
This is an great example of an OVER EXPOSED photo. Too much light has been let in causing the white effect. This is done by making the f stop too large as well as a slower shutter speed also allowing more exposure.
This photo is an example of an UNDER EXPOSED photo. Not enough light has been let into the camera. This is done by a small f stop as well as a quick shutter speed causing less exposure into the camera.
This is an example of a PERFECTLY EXPOSED photo. Where the whites are white and the blacks are black. Not too much or too little light is let in.
